Hi! Are you ready for Italy? :) So, here's a Garda Lake travel guide.

Today I will tell you about my trip to  Garda Lake and the most beautiful places around it. Lake Garda is the biggest  lake in Italy. Its water is cristal clean and climat is soft, that's why Garda's resorts are perfect for your holiday.

 

Resorts.

Sirmione.

It's an awesome town. Don't miss a chance to visit it!  There're a lot of restaurants and places where you can taste delicious food in Sirmione. This town was probably a small village of fishermen. But now it's one of the best resort town in Italy, famous for its Aqua-thermal centre, where you can cure diabetes, cellulite and varicose veins.

The main sights  to be seen are Grotto of Catullus, Scaliger Castle, Thermal Baths. You also can see Maria Callas's villa there.

Desenzano del Garda. 

Desenzano del Garda is one of the largest towns on Lake Garda's shore.  This town is the heart of night life and favourite place for rich families from Verona. You can find open-air cafes, pubs, discos, various shops everywhere. If you're young and crazy Desenzano del Garda is the best resort for your summer holiday.

The Cathedral of St. Mary Magdalene is the main ancient sight of the town.

Limone sul Garda.

It's a pretty town with narrow alleys, lemon trees, nice restaurants,  pizzerias, leather shops and clothing stores. Limone sul Garda gives you a relaxing and comfortable holiday away from the bustle of big cities. In summer months you can visit an interesting Lemon Museum, the churches of St. Peter (12 century), St. Benedict (17 century) and St. Rocco (16 century).

Gardone Riviera.

It's a town of exotic vegetation - camphor trees, cedras, palm trees, magnolias. Here you can practice the full range of aquatic sports, including waterskiing, sailing, surfing and kite surfing. You can also go paragliding and sail-flying. 

The residence  of the poet Gabriele D'Annunzio (the Vittoriale degli italiani) is a hillside estate and the main sight of the town. Other sights are Villa Alba  and Botanical Garden Andre Heller. 

Malcesine. 

Malcesine is a popular resort for holiday because of its nature. You will find here wide beaches, mountains and natural beauty of the surrondings.
This resort is suitable for people who wish to enjoy the Alpine air in the calm atmosphere and also for people who prefer active lifestyle.

The main landmark of the town is Castello Scaligero. The castle was built by the Scala family, who ruled the region in the 13th century.

Bardolino.

The town is famous for its wine, that has the same name. Bardolino is surrounded by olives, cypresses, laurels and other mediterranean plants. The tourists can go on mountain bike here, play golf, tennis or go horse riding. Bardolino has a good location - 130 km west of Venice and 25 km northwest of Verona. So you can visit these awesome cities quick and easy.

The main sightseeing is the church of San Zeno (9 century).
